There’s a grand partnership between The University of Northern Colorado and the City of Greeley. The city and university have grown together ever since the university was founded in 1889.
This week, UNC celebrates its 100th Homecoming, and Greeley is proud to celebrate with them as the Bears’ hometown. Take a look at some of the events coming up and join in the fun!

City of Greeley Employees Doughnuts with Klawz: October 10 | 8 a.m. | Greeley’s City Hall
The UNC Alumni Association invites City of Greeley employees who are also UNC alumni to city hall to enjoy donuts and coffee with the Klawz.
Blue and Gold Friday: October 13 | All Day
Show your hometown pride for UNC by wearing Blue and Gold to work, to play, and when you’re out and about in Greeley Friday.
¡Celebremos! A Festival of Latinx Music & Culture: October 13 | 5 p.m. | UNC Campus Commons
Join the College of Performing and Visual Arts in launching the new Bachelor of Arts in Latinx Music. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the concert featuring musical guest guest Alfredo Rodríguez begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Campus Commons. Learn More about the event

The UNC Recreation Center invites all members of the UNC community to sign up for the annual Homecoming 5K run/walk. The event is a great way to kick-off Saturday’s activities and enjoy the beauty of UNC’s campus. Register Online

Wear your best UNC Bear gear and cheer for the Bears as they defend against the visiting Sacramento State Hornets. Students get free admissions with their student ID, alumni, families and friends may purchase tickets through the UNC Ticket office when individual game tickets go on sale. Buy Tickets
UNC Bears Soccer vs. Montana Grizzlies | October 15 | Noon | Jackson Field
Wear your best UNC Bear gear and cheer for the Bears as they defend against the visiting University of Montana Grizzlies. Soccer matches are family friendly events and a great way to end the Homecoming weekend.
