Youth Enrichment Program
At the core of Rodarte Community Center's mission lies the Youth Enrichment Program, a testament to the organization’s commitment to empowering the younger generation. This program aims to engage and uplift young minds through a blend of recreational, educational, and cultural activities that promote healthy youth development. The Rodarte Community Center believes the Greeley community has a role and responsibility to provide youth with a safe, friendly learning environment that supports academic achievement.
Youth Enrichment takes place at both the Rodarte Community Center in downtown Greeley and the Anna Gimmestad Community Center.
A Diverse Array of Programming
The Rodarte Community Center is a place where diversity shines. The center's offerings cater to a wide range of interests and age groups, making it a welcoming space. From fitness and arts to educational programs and community events, there's something for everyone.
The Rodarte Community Center houses the STEAM Summer Scholars program, GED classes, the Youth Net Coalition, Senior Groups, Boxing, and the Greeley Youth Commission.
It’s also well known for its exceptional after-school programs, “Fun in the Sun” summer camp program, and Play on the Way initiative.
The Rodarte Community Center facility is equipped with a multi-purpose room, community room, maker’s space, library, kitchen, full-size gymnasium, and boxing gym. When not being utilized for center programming, many of these areas are available for community members to rent.
Fostering Healthy Youth Development
The heart of the Rodarte Community Center is its unwavering dedication to youth. Here, young individuals discover their potential, learn essential life skills, and build meaningful relationships with peers. It's a nurturing environment where children and teenagers develop the confidence and resilience to thrive.
The center joins Greeley Recreation in making its resources and programming accessible with Youth Assistance Program funds. As long as funding and program space are available, Greeley Recreation accommodates all qualified requests.
